YUCATAN CRUISE & TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1, Fly to Cancun, Mexico
Enjoy a complimentary stay at the precruise hotel. The evening allows time to become acquainted with the city. For your convenience, our Hospitality Desk will be located in the hotel, and our friendly staff can assist with everything from general questions about the upcoming voyage to reservation of premium experiences. Representatives will be available to provide suggestions for dining, entertainment and sightseeing options to maximize your time here.Day 2, Cancun / Puerto Morelos
Transfer to Puerto Morelos. Step onto the M/V Victory II from this hidden gem of the Yucatán. Find repose in the serene small-town atmosphere of a welcoming seaside haven.
Day 3, Puerto Morelos (Tulum)
Explore Tulum, about 80 miles south of Cancun, which has become a hot destination known for its spiritual, New Age vibe, however, for the Mayans who built it, the area served as a fortress. Tulum is protected on one side by four-story cliffs and on the other by a 12-foot wall. The ruins sit along the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula overlooking the glittering Caribbean Sea. Explore the Tulum Archaeological Site on our included tour of one of the best-preserved coastal Mayan cities.
Day 4, Puerto Morelos / Valladolid
With our ship docked in at scenic Puerto Morelos, we travel by deluxe motorcoach to spend an exclusive night at Mayaland Hotel, near Valladolid. Known for its colonial architecture and picturesque beauty – including gorgeous water-filled sinkholes called cenotes – Valladolid is a jewel of the Yucatán Peninsula. Enjoy an included tour of the amazing and important ruins of Ek Balam (Mayan for “black jaguar”) and an authentic Yucatán lunch at Hacienda Selva Maya. Indulge in a delectable dinner and relaxing overnight stay at the colorful Mayaland Hotel – family-owned and operated since 1923.
Day 5, Valladolid / Progresso
After our overnight stay at Mayaland Hotel, awake to the rare and precious opportunity to greet the sun as it rises over the mystical ruins of Chichén Itzá and the fascinating El Castillo – the Temple of Kukulkan. Complete this stop with an included tour of Valladolid. Then on to board the ship waiting at the port town of Progresso.
Day 6, Campeche
The colors of the rainbow adorn this fortified city on the Yucatán Peninsula’s western edge, in the restored façades of the historic buildings lining its cobblestone streets. In the mid-1600s, the city walls were erected to protect against pirates and marauders. Today, the Campechanos, which means “good-natured,” have a reputation for welcoming visitors. Cherish the chance to explore this charming state capital not visited by larger ships.
Day 7, Campeche, Mexico
Our included city tour spans two days, allowing guests to explore Puerto de Tierra, El Palacio de Centro Cultural, the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Fort San Miguel, the Teatro Francisco de Paula Toro and shopping at the vibrant handicrafts market at Tukulná.
Day 8, At Sea
As we depart Campeche en route to our disembarkation port of Puerto Morelos, reflect upon the journey of a lifetime, relishing every friendship, every meal, every moment.
Day 9, Puerto Morelos / Cancun, Mexico
(Disembark) - As the journey concludes, enjoy the city at your leisure, or consider a post-cruise premium experience with airport transfer.
